The kindergarten class has a tradition of doing box car races on the last day of school. The kids looked so cute in their cars racing through the school yard. The first two pictures are of the box cars for Mallory's class.
Here are what some of the other box cars looked like. The parents did a great job on each of them. I was very impressed.
Mallory was running way to fast for me to get a picture of her coming towards me. Not to mention, the sun was shining down on my phone and I couldn't see the button to take a picture of her. You can see her in the corner of the photo getting ready to run back to her class line.
After the races, everyone went back in to sign class photos. After that, the kids had lunch. PTA paid for it which was really nice of them to do. Maggie was so happy to be able to have pizza and she had to sit right next to Mallory.
Mallory and Mrs. Rea. We are going to miss her so much next year. She was/is a wonderful teacher and was the perfect fit for Mallory. (We are crossing our fingers and praying that Maggie will have her as well.) It really is hard to believe that the school year is over. Here's to having a fun summer before Mallory starts FIRST grade.
I asked for Mallory to let me take a picture of her when we got home to document the last day of school. She whined that the sun was too bright and said she would hide in the tree, but that was it. I know what she meant about the sun, so I was willing to take any picture that she would take. Goofy girl!
